Common questions
Do I need to buy tap shoes before the first class?
No. Come to your first tap class in whatever shoes you have. We'll let you know what to get when you decide to carry on.
My child is very shy. Will they be okay?
Yes. Every new child gets a buddy in class. Our teachers are experienced with nervous starters. Most shy children surprise their parents within a few weeks.
Do children have to take exams?
No. ISTD exams are offered but never compulsory. Some children love them. Others prefer to just dance. Both are completely fine.
Am I too old for adult classes?
No. Our adult classes run from complete beginners to advanced, and the ages range widely. You're never too old to start, or to come back.
Can my child try more than one class?
Yes. They can try as many as they like for free. Take your time and find what clicks.
Is there a registration fee?
No. Just a free trial, and then monthly fees if you decide to join. No contracts, no hidden costs.
